By Car

The car is always the most convenient and practical way to travel. The distance between Athens-Nafplio is 137 km and can be covered more or less in 2 hours. After Korinthos, follow the national road Korinthos-Tripoli (exit for Nafplio), head to Mycenae and then to Nafplio. If you are in Patras (183 km) you will have to take the highway from Athens to Patras and then at the node of Korinthos turn to Korinthos-Tripoli highway. When you reach the central road entering the city of Nafplio, at the node "endekati" turn right on the road Sidiras Merarhias. At the end of this road turn left onto Sygrou Avenue. On its end, Sygrou intersects Fotomara street. At the end Fotomara street you will find the Hotel Grand Sarai Nafplio on your right hand.

Nafplio is linked with frequent bus transportation to Athens and other cities of Argolis and Peloponnese, such as Korinthos, Tolo, Drepano, Lygourio, Ancient and New Epidaurus, Tiryns, Mycenae, Tripoli, Kranidi, Porto Heli, Methana, Galatas, Holy Trinity, Midea and New Tyrins.

From Athens, buses depart from the Kifissos central bus station and the route is covered in approximately 2,5 hours.
